You’re comparing two things — how cold the air is, and how hard it’s blowing.
If the back room’s air is cold but weak, you have an airflow problem. That’s ducts. If the air is blowing fine but feels lukewarm compared to the front of the house, your cold air is losing the battle on the trip through a hot attic. Also ducts, but a different repair.
And if the air is cold and strong and the room is still hot? Now we’re looking at the room itself — windows, insulation, or the door.
Check Two: The Door Test Nobody Tells You About

Close the bedroom door with the system running. Slide a dollar bill under it. Does the bill flutter or get sucked toward the gap?

Check Three: Take the Temperature Twice
